Looks to be made in an injection mold. Probably 1950s or so.

Hi that doesn't really answer my question?
I have already had it confirmed to be from the 1900's Meiji Period.

Just after a rough selling price

Could be late Meiji Period, but not very good quality potting or decoration. Probably $200 at the most, but likely less.

Hi chaps

Its a pleasure to rediscover this website after several years' absence due to ill health. I am happy to see that some old hands are still on board!

Dear Bokaba

I am interested in your injection moulding comment. My understanding is that injection moulding was not invented until some time into the 20th century, and therefore is unlikely to be present in a Meiji object. Do not be intimidated into changing your response; if the object is from the 1950s it would be useful to know it.

Rgds
JLim
