The mar is nit sharp enough and I can not make better photographs. I have intensive sought this box in Internet and I find similar objects. It could be candy bonbonniere box which was presented as a gift. For me is interesting to whom belongs golden coat of arms. Maybee you n ow that?

The lid of the box has a "Kiku Mon" or "Chrysanthemum Crest", featuring three chrysanthemum blooms around the edge and another flower in the center, which I can't identify. According to one website I came across, there are more than 150 "Mon" (family crests) featuring the "Kiku" in various configurations. Unless someone has a better idea, sounds like something that you'll just have to search to web "one-by-one" to find the name.

Good luck,

Bill H.
