These bowls are in pretty rough shape they measure 9 1/4"

Not Chinese. I think tin glazed pottery, Mexico (Talavera) or Spain.

I would appreciate if someone could speculate on the age of these bowls. Thanks

Most certainly a Talavera poblana bowl. It is painted in blue with a classic bird motif which is a common motif for Talavera. I would guess that it is from early to mid 19th century although I am no expert with these.

That is a charger with the same motif only without the mark. I would guess yours is later since it includes the mark. I have sold a few items to the guy who runs that website. He may be able to give you more information if you send him an email.
