Subject:silk table covering
Posted By: bill Wed, Jul 26, 2017 IP: 2602:306:cfaa:1c50:9 this embroidered fabric is about 1 meter square, and since the tassels are on all 4 edges, I'm assuming it's meant to be a table covering. My uncle acquired it at the end of WWII, but in Germany, oddly enough. The silk embroidery is quite intricate. I don't see much info on embroidered fabrics.
