I was offered this Meiji Japanese bronze and I wanted to know
If anyone can help me to identify the signature on it.

The signature reads 'Hideaki saku' (秀明作 - made by Hideaki).

The artist is most probably Kabuki Hideaki (株木秀明) a Japanese metalworker, active during the Taisho and early Showa period (1920s-30s), famous in particular for his okimono in Art Deco style.

Your okimono depicts Hotei.
