Subject:Chinese Scroll Help and Translation Please
Posted By: Joe Thu, Jun 29, 2017 IP: 47.17.102.98

I have attached a few pictures of a scroll I purchased.

Can anyone help me identify the artist, seals and translation? Or any additional information

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

Joe

The reading of whole text doesn′t come together,
but I can serve with the name of artist.
雪城居士 Setsujo Kyoshi (Japanese)
Xuecheng Jushi (Chinese)
Wich literally means "Snow Castle Retired Scholar". It is a customary art name. On the Japanese and Chinese websites I could find only
one artist listed with this art name,
He was a Japanese calligrapher Nakazawa Shunkyo
(1796-1820) However, these seals do not match
the ones Shunkyo have used.
Sorry not to be of more help.
With regards,
.
