Subject:Identifying chinese vase mark
Posted By: Eugenio Thu, Jun 22, 2017 IP: 201.213.42.105

Hi everybody!
I've just came across with this chinese vase, it resembles (for me) that ones from Qing dynasty .
But I've never seen this mark on the base, may be somebody knows.

Kind regards

This mark appears to be a version of "The Endless Knot", one of the "Eight Treasures of Buddhism". Take the link herewith to gotheborg.com and scroll just past mid-page for a list of these symbols.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Thanks Bill!

I was reading the link and it says this symbols "appeared on ceramics during the Yuan dynasty"
Does this mean that this vase is Yuan? or could also be Qing Dynasty ?

Thanks for your time!
