Subject:Help identify this screen and signature

I'd be very grateful for help identifying this screen and signature. I believe the screen was purchased in China or Japan in the late 1940s or 1951-52. My father, a Marine officer, did tours of duty in both places after WWII. I'd like to know anything you can tell me about the screen's origin, style, artist or workshop. Also best practice for care and conservation.
