Subject:Red Chinese square character ?

Hi,
can anyone tell me what this mark means on bottom of my chinese tea caddy? i have looked on Gothenburg but can't see it anywhere , puzzling love to know it's age, help welcome

A little hard to read at so small an image, and it is lying on its side, which makes it even harder to read. But essentially it is a mark claiming to be of the time of the TongZhi emperor. So, Tong Zhi Nian Zhi - 同治年制. It looks like a rubber stamped seal so could be considerably younger.

Pity this is still another case of someone asking for assistance but not sharing an image of the whole object, which may have helped ascertain the age or authenticity.

Thanks MikeOz , sorry i thought whole object which was a tea caddy wouldn't be of interest but i see now why important.
