Subject:Vase with single character on bottom
Posted By: Zach Wed, May 17, 2017 IP: 2604:2000:a05e:8a00:

I received this vase from my grandparents when they passed away. They only identifying marking is a single character on the bottom.

Would anyone be able to help me identify the marking and give me any additional information about the vase, such as who it was made by, where, when and if it's worth anything?

The upload image option isn't working for me on mobile and the link image option looks like it only allowes one image, which I used for the marking, so here's an imgur link to the picture of the vase. https://imgur.com/a/MzOEN

Thanks.

This is a 3 character Japanese mark of Seizan 誠山 Gama 窯 (Seizan kiln) - Late 1970's to 1980's.
See also my picture below.
Regards,
Martin.

Thanks a lot. Do you know if their pieces are valuable?
