Would appreciate any information on this item. It was obtained recently in Belgium. Thanks!

It took me a while, but I was able to decipher this mark partly, see my picture below.

Right: Dai Nippon 大日本 (Great Japan).

Middle: Imoto 井本 Sei 製 (Made by Imoto).

Left ?? ?? Ga 画 (Painted by ?? ??)

It's a pity you did not place a picture of the object itself, which would have helped more!!

Regards,
Martin.

Additional info:

According Gotheborg:
Handwritten Dai Nippon marks together with the artist’s signature date to the Meiji Period (1868-1911), reflecting the greatly increased nationalism of that period.

Imoto was a kiln, according the website "Kutani seals and marking" by Bouvier.

Thanks Martin! Any idea what this item might be worth?

Roy,

It's always hard to pin a value to an item by having only the photo's, so I don't even try.
Besides that, it's much harder to give a value by having only a picture of the bottom of a vase!
Regards,
Martin.
