Subject:Blue and White Ewer

Could someone advise whether this 17 cm high ewer has a chance of being an authentic blue and white? If so, I would invest in further testing.
 
I bought this as part of a small estate sale from a SEA collection. It was one of two ceramics and the other Asian items (mainly lacquer and wood) were quite authentic. I have concerns about this as it is too shiny and bright for my comfort.

I agree that it's most likely modern.
