Subject:ancient white jade? etched panel with european figures with Chinese faces
Posted By: lisa mcintosh Thu, Oct 29, 2009 IP: 99.188.119.163 Hi. I recently attended an estate auction. The deceased ladies Grandfather was Ambassador (Envoy) to China at the turn of the century and brought back many unusual items. Among them are these etched stone panels with Chinese figures dressed in European colonial clothing. Here is a link for a thread I posted elsewhere http://forums.ebay.com/db2/topic/Antiques/Antique-Chinese-Etched/520165404?start=15msg513046214 |

Subject:Re: Paintings on silk not 'silkscreen'
