Subject:Inherited woodcuts, can't ID artists, please help
Posted By: Dan Sat, Oct 10, 2009 IP: 24.79.141.49

I have inherited 3 woodcuts that are quite nice but I can't ID the artist (tried translating myself but as a Turkish Canadian in the middle of the prairies my knoweldge of Japanese scripts is a bit off)

Can anyone help?

All three of these are published by Uchida of Kyoto. The first two are by Tomikichiro Tokuriki and the last one by Eiichi Kotozuka.

Dan,

For the top 2, the artist is Tomikichiro Tokuriki. The third was designed by Kotozuka Eiichi. All three prints were published by Uchida, a Kyoto publisher.
