Subject:George Zee Furniture

I am fascinated to find this "chatroom"! My family was in HK in the 1950s and we brought back George Zee teak furniture. I have an ancient catalogue and some price lists from then and if you are interested I will photocopy my information to send to you. I will never part with the furniture (bureau and sandalwood chest) as I grew up with it. I would love a coffee table however!

Hi,

I have a low coffee table that has a glass insert and carvings of ships on the side and under the glass. The serial number on the underside is 52-13522 and I am trying to get an idea of the price. Do you happen to have any information on this?

is this stuff worth money for real thought it was special but wow! i have a chest i found left in my house and after searching around have found it could be sought after where could i seel this item any ideas

I have a sukiaki table and bar that are gorgeous
they are tag with numbers but have no idea how much they are worth. any ideas?

I am in the process of breaking up an apartment for my 90 y/o aunt. She has 3 pieces of Zee furniture bought in early 60's in Hong Kong. I would be really interested in their worth. There is a coffee table, #61-67049, a dresser/commode, #61-67764 and a settee/bench # 61-67393. Hope to hear from you....ME
