As discussed by LOCKE, " Chusya Baha is probably the finest example of Bahal architecture in the Valley" (p.272). Although the present quadrangle's construction can be dated back to 1648 (N.S.769) by a surviving in situ inscription, the carved struts of the baha have been dated to the 14th century by S. B. Deo and subsequent writers. (LOCKE, p. 274). In: John K. Locke, S.J. Buddhist Monasteries of Nepal. Kathmandu: Sahayogi Press Pvt. Ltd.1985.
