An imaginary structure of clay and horns. The expressive spiralling power of horns - from mountain goats, from the big horn Asiatic sheep, from yaks - is exploited in protective devices throughout the high Himalayas. Horns are a connection between the villager and the sacred world of mountain peaks and passes. (34)
