An early Bon stupa, circa 650-1000. Note the counterclockwise swastika on its left. It is comprised of seven variable-sized rectangular steps (pang rim). On the lower tiers are curvilinear etchings of unknown identity. Upon the seven-tier base is a small bulbous section (bumpa). It is surmounted by a flanged element and a horn-like finial. |
