Message Hi Cathy, I can only confirm what you allready know. It's Japanese, Satsuma and late 19th. ct. (as oldest) I guess. The mark reads (turn it 45 degrees to the left, cross above) Satsuma yaki, for the right row. The first two character of the left row are probably the name of the decorator or studio but is unknown to me. Maybe Bill H. can help with this. Nice items..... Regards, Arjan Post a Response |
