chinese bamboo carving of a mountain (preC20) |
Posted By: john walton Posted Date: Oct 22, 2006 (10:56 AM) |
Message I have a bamboo carving of a mountain which has the remnants of chinese characters on the base. I know that it originates from before the 20C, but beyond this I have no idea of how to research its maker etc. Can anybody help as there seems to be a sparcity of experts in this field. It is very intricate and very beautiful, and I would just like to know more about it. |
