Message Dear Todd It is possible an african coiled sweetgrass basket, maby be made in USA. Pls look at the strings that tied up the grass, if they are made of plastic they are surely few years ago. The coil basketry is one of the oldest crafts of African origin in America dating back from West African civilization. You can google by using keyword "sweetgrass basket".
