Message The base-mark reads down and across from the right as 戴裕成造 (Dai Yu-cheng Zao), Made by Dai Yucheng. The left-hand stack in the inscriptions reads down with the same translation, but in characters and transliteration as 戴裕成作 - Dai Yu-cheng Zuo. I'll defer to higher scholarship for the other texts. Dai Yucheng was an accomplished Qianjiang-style porcelain painter active from circa the mid-Guangxu period (1875-1908) to the early Republic era (1912-1949). Best regards, Bill H. Post a Response |
